Austin Kelley’s writing has appeared in such publications as The New York Times, The Nation, and The New Yorker, where he spent four years in the editorial department. He was the founding editor of The Modern Spectator, a sports journal. He earned his Ph.D. in English from Duke University and has been teaching writing at NYU since 2010.
Austin’s debut novel, The Fact Checker, was published by Grove/Atlantic in 2025.
