Here are the final results of the 2006 Kelley Brothers World Cup Pool. Joe has won it all, even though he had Spain in the final. (Only two of you, Fabian and Monk, picked France to get that far.)
In second place was William, who deserves special praise for picking both the winner and the third place team. I hope we will get to see William headbutt Joe. I’d fly out to California for that.
Fabian earned the bronze by picking France to lose in the final and Germany to win the 3rd place game. He nipped Jimmy (Don’t call me ‘Jan’) Koller, who ends up off the podium.
Kudos also go to Maximino who was neck-and-neck with Joe until the semifinal. If Germany had won it all, Maximino would have been the champion. Grosso’s late goal broke German hearts and Maximino’s chances.
